Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Rivercrest Rebels (Bogata, TX) and the visiting Sulphur Bluff Bears (Sulphur Bluff, TX), saw Rivercrest's basketball squad hold off Sulphur Bluff by a tally of 40-36.

With the victory, Rivercrest improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Saltillo (Saltillo, TX) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 20. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Bears play the Prairiland Patriots (Pattonville, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 16. Sulphur Bluff will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
