Texas High School Basketball - Walnut Grove overwhelms Amarillo

The Walnut Grove Wildcats basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Amarillo Sandies to 39 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Celina for a non-league game on Friday, November 15. Walnut Grove will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 53-48 non-league win over Anderson (Austin, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Amarillo falls to 5-1 on the campaign. The Sandies travel to Crandall (Crandall, TX) to confront the Pirates in a non-league game on Friday, November 15. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 1-2. Crandall won 53-29 in their recent non-league game against Samuell (Dallas, TX)
