Brewer Bears (Fort Worth, TX) backers went home pleased Friday as they observed their basketball team overcome the visiting Keller Central Chargers (Keller, TX), 53-43 in a non-league contest.

The Bears (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Lamar (Arlington, TX). The Vikings come into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Chargers battle the Everman Bulldogs (Everman, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, November 15. Keller Central will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record.
