Midlothian Panthers (Midlothian, TX) backers went home thrilled Friday as they saw their basketball team thwart the host Centennial Titans (Frisco, TX), 65-52 in a non-league contest.

The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX). The Gophers go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Grand Prairie topped Red Oak (Red Oak, TX), 62-43, in a non-league outing.

The Titans (0-1) will now prepare for their outing against Community (Nevada, TX). The Braves enter the non-league outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Community ran past Wilmer-Hutchins (Dallas, TX), 73-51, in a non-league outing.
