The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Community Christian Academy Warriors (Bessemer City, NC) and the visiting Haywood Christian Academy Red Wolves (Waynesville, NC), observed Community Christian Academy's basketball team overwhelm Haywood Christian Academy by a margin of 62-32.

The Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake Lure Classical Academy (Lake Lure, NC). The Raptors come into the Western Piedmont challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Lake Lure Classical Academy overwhelmed Pinnacle Classical Academy (Shelby, NC), 48-29, in a league match.

The Red Wolves now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Challenger for a Western Piedmont match on Monday, November 17. Haywood Christian Academy will meet a Firebirds squad coming off a 63-53 league loss to Veritas Christian Academy (Arden, NC). The Firebirds record now stands at 0-1.
