Hewitt-Trussville Huskies (Trussville, AL) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Mortimer Jordan Blue Devils (Kimberly, AL), 61-45 in a non-league contest.

The Huskies (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Moody (Moody, AL). The Blue Devils go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Moody was topped by Sardis (Boaz, AL), 64-63, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the Corner Yellow Jackets (Warrior, AL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, November 18. Mortimer Jordan will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Yellow Jackets go into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 75-45 non-league win over Westminster School at Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL).
