Mississippi High School Basketball - Walnut overwhelmed by Mooreville

In Friday's non-league test, the Mooreville Troopers (Mooreville, MS) basketball squad trounced the visiting Walnut Wildcats (Walnut, MS), by a score of 70-36.

Next, the Troopers clash with the Ripley Tigers (Ripley, MS) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, November 18. Mooreville will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 2-0 record after their 85-82 non-league win over Wheeler (Wheeler, MS).

The Wildcats (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Byhalia (Byhalia, MS). The Indians come into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Byhalia was routed by Independence (Independence, MS), 68-54, in a non-league test.
