    The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Clairton Bears (Clairton, PA) and the host Bishop Canevin Crusaders (Pittsburgh, PA), witnessed Clairton's football squad knock off Bishop Canevin by a tally of 42-22.

    The Bears (12-1) will now prepare for their contest against Laurel (New Castle, PA). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 12-1 record. In their last bout, Laurel beat Fort Cherry (McDonald, PA), 24-14, in a non-league bout.

    The Crusaders now own a 9-3 record.
