Connecticut High School Football - Darien falls to Greenwich

November 14, 2025: Greenwich, CT 06830

The Greenwich Cardinals felled the visiting Darien Blue Wave football team by a score of 35-14 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Cardinals meet the Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) in a Fairfield County - West test, on Thursday, November 27. Greenwich will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Wreckers come into the test with a 5-4 record after their 28-21 league loss to Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT).

With the defeat, Darien drops to 6-3 on the campaign. The Blue wave travel to New Canaan (New Canaan, CT) to face the Rams in a Fairfield County - East challenge on Thursday, November 27. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 9-0. New Canaan won 42-13 in their recent non-league challenge against Trumbull (Trumbull, CT)
