The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Liberty Patriots (Bakersfield, CA) and the host Hanford Bullpups (Hanford, CA), witnessed Liberty's football squad knock off Hanford by a tally of 35-14.
The Patriots (6-6) will now prepare for their bout against Bakersfield Christian (Bakersfield, CA). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 11-0 record. In their last bout, Bakersfield Christian beat Sanger (Sanger, CA), 16-7, in a non-league bout.
The Bullpups now own a 7-4 record.
