Sheehan Titans (Wallingford, CT) boosters were happy Friday as they witnessed their football squad edge the visiting Shelton Gaels (Shelton, CT), 26-25 in a league match.

The Titans (7-2) will now prepare for their match against Lyman Hall (Wallingford, CT). The Trojans enter the Southern Connecticut match with a 7-2 record. In their last match, Lyman Hall was nudged by Guilford (Guilford, CT), 48-8, in a league match.

Next up, the Gaels play the Amity Regional Spartans (Woodbridge, CT) in a Southern Connecticut battle, on Thursday, November 27. Shelton will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record. The Spartans go into the battle with a 5-4 record after their 17-7 league loss to Cheshire (Cheshire, CT).
