The Cigarroa Toros basketball team (Laredo, TX), was tipped 48-45 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host St. Joseph Academy Bloodhounds (Brownsville, TX)
The Bloodhounds (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against San Benito (San Benito, TX). The Greyhounds come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last match, San Benito was nudged by Harlingen South (Harlingen, TX), 54-19, in a non-league match.
The Toros now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mission Veterans Memorial for a non-league match on Saturday, November 15. Cigarroa will battle a Patriots team coming off a 35-32 non-league win over Donna (Donna, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 4-1.
