The Decatur Eagles basketball squad scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Emerson Mavericks to 49 in the Eagles non-league win on Friday.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Braswell Bengals (Little Elm, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, November 14. Decatur will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record. The Bengals come into the test with a 2-1 record after their 58-30 non-league win over Reedy (Frisco, TX).

The Mavericks (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against Martins Mill (Ben Wheeler, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league bout with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, Martins Mill achieved victory over Cleburne (Cleburne, TX), 63-44, in a non-league bout.
