In Friday's non-league test, the Long Creek Dragons (New Braunfels, TX) basketball team thwarted the visiting Johnson City Eagles (Johnson City, TX), by a score of 44-34.

The Dragons (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Gonzales (Gonzales, TX). The Apaches come into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Gonzales dropped by La Grange (La Grange, TX), 53-36, in a non-league challenge.

Next up, the Eagles meet the Moulton Bobkatz (Moulton, TX) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, November 20. Johnson City will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record.
