Indiana High School Basketball - New Castle bests Union County

The New Castle Trojans basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Union County Patriots to 46 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Delta for a Hoosier Heritage game on Tuesday, November 18. New Castle will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 57-50 non-league win over Connersville (Connersville, IN). The Eagles record now stands at 3-0.

The Patriots (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Morristown (Morristown, IN). The Yellow Jackets come into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Morristown went down by South Decatur (Greensburg, IN), 43-37, in a league bout.
