Athens Christian Eagles (Athens, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lake Oconee Academy Titans (Greensboro, GA), 64-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Athens Christian upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Eagles host Lakeview Academy (Gainesville, GA) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 17. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Titans clash with the East Jackson Eagles (Commerce, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 18. Lake Oconee Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 58-46 non-league win over Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA).
