Canyon Cougars (New Braunfels, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lehman Lobos (Kyle, TX), 74-28 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Canyon upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Clear Lake (Houston, TX) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 17. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 2-0. Clear Lake won 67-54 in their recent non-league bout against Lamar (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Lobos play the Travis Rebels (Austin, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 18. Lehman will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Rebels come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 52-48 non-league loss to St. Andrew's (Austin, TX).
