In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Cooper Cougars basketball team scored a decisive 61-33 triumph over the Sweetwater Mustangs.

In their next game, the Cougars meet the Chisholm Trail Rangers (Fort Worth, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 18. Cooper will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Rangers enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 69-66 non-league loss to Haltom (Haltom City, TX).

With the defeat, Sweetwater moves to 0-1 on the year. The Mustangs host Graham (Graham, TX) to meet the Steers in a non-league match on Saturday, November 19. The Steers enter the match with a record of 1-0. Graham won 76-58 in their recent non-league match against Quanah (Quanah, TX)
