Karnes City Badgers (Karnes City, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Stacey Eagles (San Antonio, TX), 55-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Karnes City upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Badgers travel to Lytle (Lytle, TX) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Friday, November 18. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Lytle won 82-53 in their recent non-league bout against Winn (Eagle Pass, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the BASIS Shavano (Castle Hills, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 18. Stacey will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
