The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Port Neches-Groves Indians to 45 in the Bears non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bears now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hargrave for a non-league contest on Friday, November 18.

The Indians (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Kelly Catholic (Beaumont, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 0-4 record.
