The Ruston Bearcats basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Minden Crimson Tide to 33 in the Bearcats non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bearcats now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Airline for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 17. Ruston will battle a Vikings team coming off a 69-57 non-league win over West Monroe (West Monroe, LA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-0.
The Crimson Tide (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Ringgold (Ringgold, LA). The Redskins come into the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Ringgold triumphed over Lakeside (Sibley, LA), 66-48, in a non-league contest.
