North Central Hurricanes (Lebeau, LA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Rayne Wolves (Rayne, LA), 59-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, North Central upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy (Lafayette, LA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 17. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy lost 74-38 in their recent non-league bout against Beau Chene (Arnaudville, LA)

Next up, the Wolves play the Acadiana Rams (Lafayette, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 17. Rayne will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
