Sachse Mustangs (Sachse, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host North Mesquite Stallions (Mesquite, TX), 65-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sachse upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Mustangs travel to LaPoynor (LaRue, TX) to clash with the Flyers in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 17. The Flyers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. LaPoynor won 93-46 in their recent non-league bout against Kemp (Kemp, TX)

Next up, the Stallions clash with the Leadership Prep Lions (Frisco, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 17. North Mesquite will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 75-71 non-league win over Liberty Christian (Argyle, TX).
