Texas High School Basketball - Grape Creek can't hold off Bangs

The Bangs Dragons basketball team scored 34 points and held the host Grape Creek Eagles to 27 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Dragons now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clyde for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 17. Bangs will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 51-25 non-league loss to Breckenridge (Breckenridge, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.

The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Garden City (Garden City, TX). The Bearkats enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Garden City nudged Compass Academy (Odessa, TX), 65-19, in a non-league contest.
