Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Huffman Vikings (Birmingham, AL), 64-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hoover upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Buccaneers host McEachern (Powder Springs, GA) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 22. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 2-0.

Next up, the Vikings play the Wenonah Dragons (Birmingham, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 18. Huffman will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Dragons come into the bout with a 6-0 record after their 51-27 non-league win over Center Point (Birmingham, AL).
