Jefferson Bulldogs (Jefferson, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Queen City Bulldogs (Queen City, TX), 55-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Jefferson upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Pine Tree (Longview, TX) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 17. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Pine Tree lost 42-19 in their recent non-league bout against Carlisle (Price, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Daingerfield Tigers (Daingerfield, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 21. Queen City will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 64-10 non-league loss to Cooper (Cooper, TX).
