Roosevelt Eagles (Lubbock, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Littlefield Wildcats (Littlefield, TX), 51-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Roosevelt upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Eagles host Lamesa (Lamesa, TX) to clash with the Tornadoes in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 17. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Lamesa lost 51-30 in their recent non-league bout against Abernathy (Abernathy, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Tahoka Bulldogs (Tahoka, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 18. Littlefield will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 52-48 non-league win over Silverton (Silverton, TX).
