The Washington Lions basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host Byrd Yellow Jackets to 46 in the Lions non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Lions now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Airline for a non-league contest on Monday, November 20. Washington will battle a Vikings team coming off a 46-45 non-league win over Ruston (Ruston, LA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-1.
The Yellow Jackets (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Summerfield (Summerfield, LA). The Rebels come into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Summerfield was defeated by Choudrant (Choudrant, LA), 50-39, in a non-league contest.
