Carpinteria Warriors (Carpinteria, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Santa Clara Saints (Oxnard, CA), 74-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Carpinteria upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to Thacher (Ojai, CA) to clash with the Toads in a non-league bout on Friday, November 17. The Toads go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Thacher won 65-35 in their recent non-league bout against Fillmore (Fillmore, CA)

Next up, the Saints clash with the Legacy Tigers (South Gate, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 18. Santa Clara will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 63-56 non-league win over Fairfax (Los Angeles, CA).
