The Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Sun Valley Magnet Pioneers to 56 in the Vipers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Vipers now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology for a non-league contest on Monday, November 27. Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences will battle a Griffins team coming off a 52-40 non-league loss to East Valley (North Hollywood, CA). The Griffins record now stands at 1-2.
The Pioneers (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Sherman Oaks CES (Reseda, CA). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Sherman Oaks CES ran past Geffen Academy (Los Angeles, CA), 55-53, in a non-league contest.
