The Haynes Academy basketball team scored 30 points and held the host Bonnabel Bruins to 22 in the non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eleanor McMain for a non-league contest on Friday, November 17. Haynes Academy will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 41-5 non-league win over Kennedy (New Orleans, LA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.
The Bruins (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Pearl River (Pearl River, LA). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Pearl River was defeated by Newman (New Orleans, LA), 54-50, in a non-league contest.
