North Carolina High School Basketball - East Mecklenburg thwarts Berry

November 15, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28212

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the East Mecklenburg Eagles (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting Berry Cardinals (Charlotte, NC), observed East Mecklenburg's basketball team knock off Berry by a score of 59-51.

The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Palisades (Charlotte, NC). The Pumas come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Palisades prevailed over West Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 46-43, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cardinals encounter the Harding University Rams (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 19. Berry will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 66-55 non-league win over Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC).
