The West Mesquite Wranglers basketball team scored 37 points and limited the visiting Lamar Vikings to 33 in the Wranglers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wranglers now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Midlothian for a non-league game on Saturday, November 16. West Mesquite will confront a Panthers team coming off a 62-23 non-league win over Samuell (Dallas, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Lamar falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Southwest (Fort Worth, TX) to confront the Raiders in a non-league game on Tuesday, November 19. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 1-2. Southwest lost 44-42 in their recent non-league game against Poteet (Mesquite, TX)
