In Friday's non-league contest, the host Lincoln Tigers basketball team scored a good 57-41 win over the Newman Smith Trojans.
The Tigers (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Red Oak (Red Oak, TX). The Hawks come into the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Red Oak defeated Lufkin (Lufkin, TX), 61-49, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Pinkston Vikings (Dallas, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, November 19. Newman Smith will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Vikings come into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 55-51 non-league loss to Skyline (Dallas, TX).
