The Newberg Tigers (Newberg, OR) football tipped the visiting Grants Pass Cavemen (Grants Pass, OR), 36-33 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Tigers now sport a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Medford for a non-league outing on Friday, November 22. Newberg will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 41-21 non-league win over Sandy (Sandy, OR). The Panthers record now stands at 8-4.

With the defeat, Grants Pass drops to 7-5 on the campaign.
