Connecticut High School Football - Weston trounced by Pomperaug

November 15, 2024: Southbury, CT 06488

Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Weston Trojans (Weston, CT), 49-6 in a league battle.

With the win, Pomperaug advances its record to 2-7 on the season. The Panthers travel to Notre Dame Prep (Fairfield, CT) to encounter the Lancers in a South-West battle on Tuesday, November 26. The Lancers go into the battle with a record of 2-7. Notre Dame Prep lost 6-0 in their recent league battle against Stratford (Stratford, CT)

The Trojans now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they host Joel Barlow for a South-West battle on Wednesday, November 27. Weston will encounter a Falcons team coming off a 34-7 league loss to Newtown (Newtown, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 4-5.
