North Carolina High School Basketball - Carolina Day knocked off by Gaston Christian

November 15, 2024: Gastonia, NC 28056

In Friday's non-league test, the Gaston Christian Eagles (Gastonia, NC) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Carolina Day Wildcats (Asheville, NC), by a score of 55-35.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Greensboro Day School Bengals (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, November 19. Gaston Christian will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Bengals come into the test with a 3-1 record after their 53-45 non-league win over Victory Christian Center (Charlotte, NC).

The Wildcats (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Asheville Christian Academy (Swannanoa, NC). The Lions come into the NCISAA Carolinas test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Asheville Christian Academy went down by Tri-Cities Christian (Blountville, TN), 53-49, in a non-league test.
