In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting East Central Hornets basketball team scored a good 56-38 triumph over the La Feria Lions.
The Hornets (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Alexander (Laredo, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Alexander topped Madison (San Antonio, TX), 66-32, in a non-league contest.
