In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting South Grand Prairie Warriors basketball team scored a good 43-34 triumph over the Highland Park Scots.
The Warriors (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against La Vega (Waco, TX). The Pirates go into the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, La Vega topped Plano (Plano, TX), 56-46, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Scots battle the Sachse Mustangs (Sachse, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, November 15. Highland Park will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 5-3 record after their 63-43 non-league win over Heritage (Frisco, TX).
