Texas High School Basketball - New Braunfels triumphant over Vela

November 15, 2024: New Braunfels, TX 78130

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the New Braunfels Unicorns (New Braunfels, TX) and the visiting Vela Sabercats (Edinburg, TX), observed New Braunfels's basketball team overwhelm Vela by a score of 64-43.

The Unicorns (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Edinburg (Edinburg, TX). The Bobcats come into the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Edinburg trounced Madison (San Antonio, TX), 48-36, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Sabercats encounter the Palmview Lobos (La Joya, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 15. Vela will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Lobos come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 59-55 non-league win over Alexander (Laredo, TX).
