The Tara Trojans smashed the host Covington Lions soccer team by a tally of 8-1 in Friday's non-league game.

Next, the Trojans face the Woodlawn-B.R. Panthers (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, November 20. Tara will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record.

The Lions (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA). The Jaguars come into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Pope John Paul II was overwhelmed by Northshore (Slidell, LA), 5-0, in a non-league outing.
