Texas High School Basketball - Sachse nips Independence

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Sachse Mustangs basketball team scored a close 66-63 triumph over the Independence Knights.

The Mustangs (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against North Mesquite (Mesquite, TX). The Stallions go into the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, North Mesquite got by Forney (Forney, TX), 56-48, in a non-league match.

The Knights now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grapevine for a non-league match on Thursday, November 20. Independence will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 52-39 non-league loss to Pinkston (Dallas, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-1.
