The Wakeland Wolverines (Frisco, TX) basketball edged the host Braswell Bengals (Little Elm, TX), 58-53 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Wolverines now possess a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Ursuline Academy for a non-league bout on Thursday, November 20.
In their next game, the Bengals encounter the Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 18. Braswell will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 62-55 non-league win over Guyer (Denton, TX).
