The Friendswood Mustangs basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Carroll Tigers to 40 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mustangs now have a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Seven Lakes for a non-league game on Tuesday, November 18. Friendswood will confront a Spartans team coming off a 67-38 non-league loss to Allen (Allen, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 6-1.

The Tigers (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against Victoria West (Victoria, TX). The Warriors enter the non-league outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Victoria West ran past Corpus Christi Moody (Corpus Christi, TX), 56-31, in a non-league outing.
