    Comfort Bobcats/Deer (Comfort, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Knippa Crushers (Knippa, TX), 57-52 in a non-league bout.

    With the victory, Comfort upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bobcats/Deer travel to Medina (Medina, TX) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Friday, November 19. The Bobcats come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

    Next up, the Crushers play the McMullen County Cowboys (Tilden, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 19. Knippa will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Cowboys come into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 76-46 non-league win over John Paul II (Corpus Christi, TX).
