The Kemp Yellowjackets basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Cross Roads Bobcats to 17 in the Yellowjackets non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lone Oak for a non-league contest on Friday, November 19. Kemp will battle a Buffaloes team coming off a 59-52 non-league win over Quitman (Quitman, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 1-0.
The Bobcats (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Latexo (Latexo, TX). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Latexo was routed by New Summerfield (New Summerfield, TX), 59-17, in a non-league contest.
