Live Oak Eagles (Watson, LA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Baker Buffaloes (Baker, LA), 62-23 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Live Oak upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to St. Helena College and Career Academy (Greensburg, LA) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 17. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Buffaloes play the Southern Lab Kittens (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 19. Baker will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
