The Calipatria Hornets basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Coachella Valley Mighty Arabs to 15 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Hornets now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Warner for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 17. Calipatria will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 29-18 non-league win over Hamilton (Anza, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.

The Mighty Arabs (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Xavier Prep (Palm Desert, CA). The Saints enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record.
