Junction City Dragons (Junction City, AR) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lakeside Rams (Hot Springs, AR), 51-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Junction City upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Dragons travel to Crossett (Crossett, AR) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 17. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Crossett lost 75-48 in their recent non-league bout against Drew Central (Monticello, AR)

Next up, the Rams play the Forrest City Mustangs (Forrest City, AR) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 19. Lakeside will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 67-54 non-league loss to Lake Hamilton (Pearcy, AR).
