The Salmon Savages basketball team scored 24 points and held the visiting Challis Vikings to 21 in the Savages non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Savages now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Butte County for a non-league contest on Friday, November 18. Salmon will battle a Pirates team coming off a 42-21 non-league loss to North Fremont (Ashton, ID). The Pirates record now stands at 0-1.
